Metaplanet, a Japanese Bitcoin treasury firm, is making a significant move in the US market. The company has signed an agreement to acquire about 95.7% of Nasdaq-listed Super League by investing 2,100 Bitcoin and $2.5 million in cash.
The total investment amounts to approximately $134.6 million. Once the deal closes, Super League will change its name to Superplanet while retaining its Nasdaq listing.
