Metaplanet Establishes Hong Kong Unit for Bitcoin Investment Management

Metaplanet has established a new subsidiary in Hong Kong to manage Bitcoin-linked investments during Asian market hours. The $1 million unit is wholly owned by Metaplanet and will focus on Bitcoin-related securities, equities, and credit products as part of Project Nova.

The new operation complements Metaplanet's existing asset-management arm in Miami, supporting its global expansion strategy centered on Bitcoin assets. The Hong Kong subsidiary is expected to start operations by September 2026 with minimal impact on Metaplanet's 2026 financial results.
