Metaplanet Takes Control of Super League with $134M BTC-Fueled Acquisition

Metaplanet is taking control of Super League Enterprise (Nasdaq: SLE), renaming it to Superplanet, Inc. after closing.

The acquisition will give Metaplanet approximately 95.7% ownership of the company, which will trade under the ticker SUPA on the NASDAQ.

Metaplanet is contributing a total of $132.1 million worth of Bitcoin (BTC) and $2.5 million in cash to Super League via its U.S.-based unit Metaplanet Holdings.
