Metaplanet Unloads Nearly $377M in Bitcoin to Coinbase This Week
Metaplanet, a corporate Bitcoin treasury holding the fourth-largest amount of BTC, has made significant transfers to Coinbase this week. According to Arkham Intelligence data, Metaplanet moved 4,800 BTC worth nearly $377 million to Coinbase Prime today, bringing its total weekly deposits to approximately $806.3 million.
This transfer follows previous moves by the company: 2,000 BTC worth $155.5 million two days ago, a series of transfers three days ago totaling 3,331 BTC worth almost $266 million, and a transfer six days ago moving 139 BTC worth $11.1 million.
Metaplanet's holdings would be reduced by over 29% if these transfers are confirmed to be sales. The company is currently the fourth-largest corporate Bitcoin holder with 35,102 BTC worth approximately $2.75 billion in its coffers.
