MEXC, a cryptocurrency exchange, will stop serving customers in the Netherlands due to its lack of MiCA authorisation. The company has recommended Bybit EU as a compliant alternative for Dutch users.

According to MEXC's announcement, partnering with Bybit represents an important step in ensuring a secure and seamless transition for their users. Bybit's regulatory framework and user-protection measures were cited by Robert MacDonald, Chief Compliance Officer at MEXC, as reasons for the recommendation.

Affected customers will be contacted with instructions and timelines to move their assets to Bybit EU before MEXC ends its services in the Netherlands on 16 November 2026. The recommended transfer date is 31 October 2026.
