MiCA Crypto Alliance Unveils Tracker to Verify Authorized Providers in the EU

Share

The European Union has made it easier for consumers to verify if their crypto exchange or wallet provider is authorized. The MiCA Crypto Alliance launched the MiCA CASP Tracker on August 5, 2026, making ESMA's public authorization data searchable.

The tracker allows users to filter records by company name, country, regulator, and services offered. It covers ten regulated crypto services under MiCA, including custody, trading platform operation, and crypto-to-fiat exchange.

Licensing has not slowed down since the July 1 deadline for unauthorised providers to stop accepting new EU clients. In fact, ESMA added 15 new providers to its register in late-July, including banks entering the space.
