Michigan Mining Farm Transformed into AI Data Center by Hyperscale Data
Hyperscale Data has closed its Michigan bitcoin mining facility and is converting it into an artificial intelligence data center.
The publicly traded company will sell all of its mining equipment, which was used for cryptocurrency mining operations at the site.
A contract with a neocloud provider includes 20 MW of power and could potentially generate over $1.2 billion in revenue over the maximum term of the agreement.
An additional option for 32 MW could increase the agreement's value to over $3 billion, making it one of the most lucrative deals in the industry.
