MicroStrategy Sells $250 'Bitcoin Jordans' Without Accepting Crypto Payments
MicroStrategy has released its own branded version of Nike's Air Jordans, dubbed the Bitcoin Jordans. These limited-edition sneakers are available for purchase on MicroStrategy's online store at a price tag of $250 per pair.
The Bitcoin Jordans feature a mid-top silhouette built on the original AJ1 design, with leather overlays and custom branding from MicroStrategy. The company describes it as a 'custom build' rather than an official Nike collaboration.
MicroStrategy's online store carries 53 products in total, ranging from $10 Bitcoin shoelaces to $250 Nike Dunks. However, despite its strong focus on Bitcoin, the company only accepts card payments and wallets like Apple Pay, not cryptocurrencies themselves.
