MicroStrategy Sells Branded Sneakers, But No Crypto Payments Accepted
MicroStrategy has launched its own online store, where customers can buy branded merchandise, including a limited edition Nike Air Jordan sneaker dubbed 'Bitcoin Jordans.'
The $250 sneakers feature custom branding and are available in the company's online store. However, unlike other crypto-friendly companies, MicroStrategy does not accept cryptocurrency payments for its products.
Michael Saylor's MicroStrategy has seen significant gains from the recent Bitcoin bull run, with MSTR stock increasing by 45% in a month, erasing all losses from the last six months.
Nike's own stock, on the other hand, has struggled, losing nearly half its value in the past year. The company faces challenges in Greater China and is dealing with tariffs that have cut into its gross margin.
