MicroStrategy, a Washington-based business intelligence firm, has hinted at resuming its Bitcoin buying strategy after temporarily halting purchases in recent months. The company's chairman and co-founder, Michael Saylor, posted on X (formerly Twitter) that 'We're Back,' fueling speculation about the return of new Bitcoin acquisitions.

The pause in purchasing coincided with a volatile period for the cryptocurrency market, which left MicroStrategy's significant Bitcoin holdings in an unrealized loss. However, with Bitcoin's recent surge past $80,000, the company's position has moved back into positive territory after being in deficit for several months.

MicroStrategy holds more than 840,447 BTC at an average cost basis of approximately $75,385 per coin. Saylor's message has been interpreted by market participants as a sign that MicroStrategy may resume its high-profile Bitcoin accumulation strategy, leveraging its substantial cash reserves following the brief hiatus.
