MicroStrategy Tunes in to 200-Week MA for Massive $53 Billion Bitcoin Reserve
MicroStrategy's Michael Saylor has announced that his company will be tracking the 200-week moving average (200W MA) as an official metric for their $53 billion Bitcoin reserve.
The 200W MA is a critical threshold used in technical analysis to determine long-term trends, and it serves as a support zone where Bitcoin's price has historically remained above 92% of the time.
According to current data, this level is around $63,770, while the Bitcoin price is trading at the $63,000 level, slightly below this average.
Purchases made when the Bitcoin price trades below this average have historically yielded a median return of 113% in 12 months and 313% over two years, according to Kraken analysts.
