MicroStrategy's Bitcoin Sneakers Can't Be Bought With Crypto
MicroStrategy, an American business software company, has released its latest limited-edition sneaker collaboration. The '250 Bitcoin Jordans' are a unique take on the popular Air Jordan sneakers, featuring the number '250' in place of the traditional Jumpman logo.
The shoes are priced at $250 and will be available for purchase starting March 18th. However, there's a catch: despite being named after Bitcoin, you can't actually buy them with cryptocurrency.
MicroStrategy has been a prominent player in the world of cryptocurrency investments, having purchased over $4 billion worth of BTC since 2020. The company's CEO, Michael Saylor, has been a vocal advocate for using Bitcoin as a store of value and a hedge against inflation.
