Middle-Aged Investors Flock to Cryptocurrency

The cryptocurrency market is experiencing a shift in investor demographics, as users aged 50 and older are increasingly turning to 'coin accumulation' services.

Data from Coinone shows that one in five users of these services is in their 50s or 60s, with those in their 50s making up 15.29% of total users and those in their 60s accounting for 4.91%.

This trend challenges the perception that virtual asset investment is exclusive to younger generations.

Across all age groups, Bitcoin was the top pick, indicating that investors favor the coin with the largest market capitalization and highest name recognition.

Analysts attribute this concentration of demand in Bitcoin to the nature of the coin accumulation service itself, which encourages long-term holding through regular fixed investments.
