Crypto prices have surged as Middle East tensions ease following US President Donald Trump's announcement that he would resume talks with Iran. The development has led to a rise in cryptocurrency values across the board.

According to CoinMarketCap, a global cryptocurrency market site, Bitcoin was up 1.14% from 24 hours earlier at $63,443 as of 8:20 a.m. on August 3rd. Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, saw a 2.03% increase at $1,881, while Ripple and Solana rose 2.14% and 2.12%, respectively.

The increase in crypto prices is attributed to expectations of eased tensions in the region. Earlier on August 2nd, Trump stated that talks between the US and Iran would take place on the afternoon of August 3rd (US time), saying 'We'll see if we can reach a deal.'
