Midnight Surpasses 2 Billion NIGHT Token Redemptions

The Midnight Foundation has reached a major milestone in its NIGHT token redemption process. Users have now redeemed over 2 billion NIGHT tokens, surpassing 2 billion, since the redemption process began in December 2025.

For context, recipients initially claimed 4.5 billion NIGHT tokens across eight blockchains during the Glacier Drop and Scavenger Mine phases. The redemption process uses a thawing mechanism that allows users to access their NIGHT allocations over four periods.

The fourth and final period began on September 6, 2026, and is scheduled to end on December 4, 2026. With 2 billion NIGHT now redeemed, around 2.5 billion remain available for redemption before the deadline.

A 90-day grace period will follow after the December 4 deadline, during which users can continue claiming their fully thawed NIGHT tokens through the official Midnight Redemption Portal or supported wallet applications.
