Midterm Election Pattern at Risk as Bitcoin Charges Higher
Bitcoin's August rally has raised hopes that it may finally break a long-standing pattern during U.S. midterm election years.
The cryptocurrency has gained 22% so far this month, putting it on track to defy the historical trend of closing the month in the red.
This streak has held since 2014, with Bitcoin ending August 2018 and 2022 at a loss.
However, if Bitcoin closes above zero this year, it would be the first time since the pattern began.
