Mining Giants Post July Declines Amid Rising Prices
Three major Bitcoin mining companies, CleanSpark, BitFuFu, and Canaan, reported lower production numbers in July despite rising Bitcoin prices.
CleanSpark generated 586 BTC in July, down from 614 BTC in June. Meanwhile, BitFuFu's output dropped to 112 BTC from 125 BTC the prior month.
Canaan also saw a reduction in its production, although no specific figure was given.
The mining difficulty adjusts roughly every two weeks to keep block times near ten minutes, regardless of how much computing power the network throws at the problem. This adjustment can affect individual miners' shares and operational efficiency.
