Mirae Asset Aims for $165 Billion in Digital Assets by 2027
Mirae Asset Group set ambitious goals for its Digital X-led digital assets business. Global strategist Park Hyun-joo aims to grow Digital X's portfolio to 150 trillion won by 2027. The company plans to achieve this through the expansion of four key areas: crypto, stablecoins, real-world assets (RWA), and tokenized securities (STO).
Park presented a roadmap at an event for Digital X employees in Seoul on August 26. He emphasized the importance of innovation and adaptability in the rapidly changing digital asset landscape.
Mirae Asset Group is also building a blockchain-based on-chain finance ecosystem, which will enable the creation of new financial products and services using digital assets. The company aims to strengthen its business competitiveness through principal investment (PI) and connect traditional assets with digital assets via a 'global integrated platform' centered on Digital X.
