Mlelwa Champions Responsible Crypto Adoption Across Africa

Tanzanian educator Antony Polycarp Mlelwa is advocating for responsible crypto adoption across Africa. He argues that meaningful blockchain adoption depends on informed people, not merely rising participation.

Mlelwa, a Certified Financial Educator and blockchain educator, has been building a case for blockchain education in Africa since 2017. His early experience with cryptocurrency was marked by sharp price cycles, fragmented information, and technical complexity.

He emphasizes that people should not enter cryptocurrency merely because they have been shown possible profits. Instead, they should first understand what they are buying, how it works, where its value may come from, what assumptions support the investment case, and what could cause them to lose money.
