Prime Minister Narendra Modi's diplomatic calendar has been packed during the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, where he held 15 bilateral meetings with Heads of State and Government over three days. These meetings were in addition to pull-aside interactions with various world leaders and international institutions.

The Prime Minister met Russian President Vladimir Putin on September 11, discussing bilateral cooperation across multiple domains, including politics, economy, defense, energy, space, and skill mobility. They also welcomed Russia's International Industrial Exhibition 'INNOPROM India' held in India from September 9-11.

PM Modi reiterated that dialogue and diplomacy are the way forward in resolving conflicts, and said India stands ready to assist in peace efforts. The two leaders agreed to remain engaged to further strengthen their Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership.
