Monad Ecosystem Sees Explosive Growth with Aave and New Projects
The Monad ecosystem has seen significant growth and development in July 2026. Aave, a popular decentralized lending platform, launched on Monad and surpassed $250 million in total value locked (TVL) within a month of its debut.
Cadence, a next-generation consensus protocol designed to deliver fast block times and enhanced protection against MEV attacks, was unveiled by Category Labs. The Mondad protocol underwent a hard fork this month, reducing block times from 400ms to 300ms and finality from 800ms to 600ms.
The Monad DeFi ecosystem has crossed $800M in TVL and more than $1.5B in total value, including outstanding borrows. Multiple projects, such as Aave, Ethnea, Maple, Saturn, and Pendle, have successfully launched on the network, bringing new features and assets to the community.
