Monero Upgrade Could Unlock 100M-Output Privacy as AlphaPepe Prepares AI-Powered Trading Utility
The Monero network is on the cusp of a significant upgrade that could significantly enhance its privacy features. FCMP++ aims to replace the current ring-signature model with full-chain membership proofs, allowing users to prove an output belongs within the entire chain history without revealing which one. This would create an anonymity set of roughly 100 million outputs, making Monero's transactions more difficult to analyze.
The upgrade is still in testing and development, but if successful, it could strengthen Monero's position as a specialist network for users concerned about transaction visibility. However, adoption, liquidity, and market demand will be crucial factors determining the upgrade's impact on price.
AlphaPepe, another project, has been gaining traction with its AI-powered DEX, AlphaSwap. The platform helps retail traders avoid buying blindly by scanning token contracts, flagging risky setups, tracking whale activity, and surfacing trend signals. Stage 20 is live at $0.02707, having raised over $2.34 million and attracting more than 11,000 holders.
