Monex Group Establishes Online Finance Institute to Promote Blockchain Financial Services

Monex Group has established the Monex Online Finance Institute on August 5th to promote the research and implementation of online finance.

Online finance is a system where securities, payments, and asset management are conducted on a blockchain. The institute will investigate global standards for online finance and push forward its social implementation.

The Monex Online Finance Institute will conduct continuous research and analysis of regulatory developments and technological innovations in various countries, as well as design the framework for online finance in Japan based on its laws and market environment.

The institute will provide comprehensive support to financial institutions and startups from service design to business development and social implementation. It will utilize the technology, expertise, and customer base of Monex Group's affiliated companies and the asset composition capabilities of Monex Asset Management.
