The crypto space has made another significant breakthrough as MoneyGram launched its Ramps service on Solana, expanding access to digital assets in over 170 countries. This move is a game-changer for Solana's ecosystem, providing users with an off-ramp option and enabling cross-border remittances, payroll payments, and humanitarian aid.

According to MoneyGram, the integration will allow developers to build financially useful applications on a global scale, leveraging Solana's infrastructure to solve real-world problems. This partnership is significant, given MoneyGram's vast customer base of over 60 million active customers across more than 200 countries and territories.

The Ramps service enables users to deposit cash in over 25 countries and withdraw it in over 170 countries, with conversions available between stablecoins and local currencies. While this represents a massive off-ramp for Solana, the on-ramp remains limited to selected markets.
