MoneyGram has expanded its cryptocurrency services by launching Ramps on Solana. This integration allows users to convert crypto assets into local currency at over 170 countries and territories, with support for cash deposits in more than 25 countries.
Ramps is designed to simplify the process of converting digital assets into local currency, making it easier for users to access their funds worldwide. The service operates through physical storefronts, reducing the need for bank transfers that can take several days and incur additional fees.
MoneyGram's CEO, Anthony Soohoo, stated that 'the future of payments is built on access.' By integrating Ramps with Solana, MoneyGram aims to create a global payments network that provides easy access to digital assets.
