MoneyGram Brings Fiat Access to Solana Apps with Ramps Launch

MoneyGram has expanded its integration with Solana by launching MoneyGram Ramps, giving developers access to the company's fiat on- and off-ramp infrastructure through a single API.

The launch adds a fiat-access layer to MoneyGram's existing involvement with Solana, which includes operating a network validator. This is not MoneyGram's first attempt at connecting cash and crypto; earlier this year, it partnered with the Stellar Development Foundation to convert cash into Circle's USDC stablecoin and back through its retail network.

MoneyGram Ramps allows developers to integrate fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat transfers without building separate banking integrations. The service includes API credentials, sandbox access, documentation, and SDKs for developers.
