MoneyGram has expanded its Ramps service to Solana (SOL), enabling wallets, exchanges, and developers on the network to offer cash-to-crypto and crypto-to-cash conversions through its payments network. This move follows MoneyGram's previous partnership with Stellar.

Rift is the first Solana wallet to integrate the Ramps service, allowing users to easily exchange between cryptocurrencies and local currencies using MoneyGram's vast network. The company serves over 60 million customers across nearly 500,000 retail locations in more than 170 countries, making it a significant player in global remittances.

The integration of Ramps into the Solana Developer Platform's payments module enables developers to add fiat on- and off-ramp infrastructure without building their own banking integrations. This expansion is part of MoneyGram's broader effort to make Ramps available across multiple blockchain ecosystems.
