Moneygram has expanded its Ramps service to the Solana blockchain, allowing users to convert between traditional currencies and digital assets. The move marks a significant step in Moneygram's push into the crypto industry.

The service connects traditional cash networks with cryptocurrency wallets, making it easier for users to buy or sell digital assets. With this integration, developers building applications on Solana can now use Ramps as a payment option without having to build their own system.

Moneygram's Chairman and CEO Anthony Soohoo said that the future of payments is built on access, with each additional platform connected to Ramps extending the reach and value of its payments network. The integration also expands Moneygram's cash network to over 170 countries and territories.
