MoneyGram Debuts Stablecoin-Backed Card in Colombia
MoneyGram has expanded its services in Colombia by launching a stablecoin-backed Visa card. The digital card, which works through the MoneyGram app, allows customers to spend USDC without converting it to local currency first.
The company plans to add MGUSD support and introduce a physical version of the card later this year.
MoneyGram has been working with stablecoins since 2021 and launched its own MGUSD stablecoin in June 2026. The company serves over 60 million active customers across more than 200 countries and territories.
