MoneyGram Introduces Stablecoin-Based VISA Card
MoneyGram has launched a VISA card that allows customers to spend stablecoin balances, expanding its push into digital assets.
The MoneyGram Card brings together Rain's card infrastructure, Crossmint's wallet capabilities, and the Stellar network to provide fast, simple, and immediate access to funds.
Developed in partnership with Rain, the enterprise-grade infrastructure for stablecoin-powered payments, customers can add the card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for tap-to-pay, checkout faster, and online shopping.
The card gives customers a stable-dollar balance they can hold and use for everyday spending within the MoneyGram ecosystem. The company plans to expand the experience with a physical card option in late 2026.
