MoneyGram Ramps has expanded its services to include support for the Solana blockchain, allowing wallets, exchanges, and developers to connect to a global network where they can exchange cryptocurrency for local money and vice versa.
This integration enables developers on the Solana platform to tap into MoneyGram's expansive payment network, which serves over 60 million customers via almost 500,000 retail outlets in more than 170 countries.
The inclusion of Solana is a significant step in MoneyGram's strategy to merge its traditional cash network with emerging blockchain technology.
