MoneyGram Ramps Brings Global Payments Network to Solana
MoneyGram Ramps has gone live on Solana, offering developers a single API for compliant cash-to-crypto and crypto-to-cash transactions. According to an announcement from Solana, MoneyGram Ramps gives builders access to nearly 60 million customers across 170 countries through its vast retail network.
The service is described as a simple API that enables fast, compliant integration between cash and digital assets. This means developers can connect users to MoneyGram's global network without building their own banking infrastructure, using Instant API credentials and sandbox access.
MoneyGram Ramps supports cash deposits in more than 25 countries and withdrawals across over 170 countries and territories. It also allows users to convert between cash and digital assets, such as USDC. The service has been integrated into the Solana Developer Platform's payments module, giving wallets, exchanges, and developers direct access to trusted fiat on- and off-ramp infrastructure.
