MoneyGram has partnered with the Stellar blockchain to launch a new virtual Visa card in Latin America, specifically targeting Colombia. The MoneyGram Card by Rain allows users to spend USDC stablecoins instantly at any Visa-accepting retailer, with automatic conversion to local currency at checkout.

The partnership leverages the speed of the Stellar network, while Crossmint manages wallet custody. Despite this significant move for the Stellar blockchain, the XLM token has been facing a bearish trend since early 2026, struggling to maintain gains after a short rally in May.

As reported by analysts, XRP and XLM have reached critical support levels amid a broad crypto market decline triggered by U.S. inflation data and expectations of Federal Reserve rate hikes. The tokens are near key support zones, with XRP testing $1.32 and XLM facing pressure around its current price.
