MoneyGram has launched its digital card in Colombia, which is powered by Stellar infrastructure. The card allows users to spend their stable-dollar balances directly via mobile wallets.

The company's new product extends beyond sending and receiving money, enabling customers to apply for the card through the app and manage their balances and expenses from the same platform.

The digital card can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for contactless payments and online purchases. Users can also transfer funds to themselves and receive local currency at any physical MoneyGram location.

MoneyGram developed the card in collaboration with Rain, which provides the card payment infrastructure, and Crossmint supplies the digital wallet technology, while transactions are processed on the Stellar network.

The company plans to expand the product into other markets in the coming months, with a physical version of the card expected by late 2026.
