MoneyGram has launched a new Visa card that allows customers to hold and spend stablecoins like cash. The card, initially available in Colombia, uses Circle's USDC stablecoin and will expand globally in the coming months.

The MoneyGram Card can be used online, in stores, or for cash pickup at MoneyGram locations worldwide. Customers can access their card through the MoneyGram app and add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

MoneyGram's own dollar-backed token, MGUSD, will be added later, after its initial launch on the Stellar network in June. The company has partnered with Rain, Crossmint, and the Stellar blockchain to build the card.
