MoonPay Integrates PayBox with xAI's Grok Chatbot for Secure Crypto Transactions
MoonPay has expanded its PayBox solution to Grok, an AI chatbot developed by xAI. This marks the third deployment of PayBox after ChatGPT and Claude.
The tool supports transactions on various blockchain networks, including Solana, Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Hyperliquid, and more under the open x402 standard.
MoonPay's technical integration operates as a self-custodial vault between the AI model and user assets. It generates transaction drafts within the conversation flow to mitigate vulnerabilities associated with credential exposure.
The system allows users to configure operations under two control modes: 'Always Ask' and 'Autonomous'. In the first mode, every individual transaction requires mandatory signing via an immediately expiring biometric passkey. In the second, the assistant holds authorization to operate independently within predefined spending limits.
