MoonPay has surprised users of ChatGPT and Claude AI assistants by sending them free USDC cryptocurrency directly to their Solana wallets.

The one-time drop was part of a partnership between MoonPay and these popular AI tools, allowing users to link their accounts and access crypto services through PayBox, a non-custodial payment vault.

Any ChatGPT or Claude user who linked their preferred AI assistant to PayBox, connected their 𝕏 account, and revealed their allocation was eligible for the free USDC drop.

The first drop was successful but ended quickly, with some users reporting impressive rewards of up to $630.45 USDC.

MoonPay has confirmed that users who missed out will get another chance in a future drop.
