MoonPay Unveils PayBox for Secure Crypto Payments with AI Assistants

MoonPay has launched PayBox, a noncustodial payment vault that enables users to prepare and execute crypto transactions or online purchases through ChatGPT and Claude. This new product connects with AI assistants through custom connectors and natural-language commands.

Users can buy, swap, bridge or deposit crypto and complete commercial transactions such as travel bookings, restaurant reservations, and online purchases using their connected payment vault. The service relies on passkey approvals and user-defined spending limits to control what actions the connected AI assistant can execute.

MoonPay supports Solana and several EVM networks, including Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and Polygon, allowing users to perform various crypto actions such as buying digital assets with fiat currency, swapping tokens, moving assets between blockchains, and depositing funds into decentralized finance protocols.
