MoonPay Unveils PayBox Vault for Secure AI-Driven Transactions

MoonPay has launched PayBox Vault, a new product that allows users of AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude to authorize real-world and crypto transactions directly within a conversation. This eliminates the need for users to hand over custody of their funds to the AI or navigate separate wallets, exchanges, or checkout pages.

The launch addresses a persistent gap in the AI landscape, where assistants could only research tokens, compare swap routes, or find restaurants, but not perform transactions.

MoonPay's CEO and Founder, Ivan Soto-Wright, stated that 'the card hid the cash. The phone hid the card. This is the era where money disappears into conversation.'
