Morgan Stanley and Grayscale Buck Trend Amid US Spot Bitcoin ETF Outflows
The US spot Bitcoin ETF complex recorded net outflows of $131.1 million on August 13, contrasting with inflows into Morgan Stanley's Bitcoin Trust and Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust.
Morgan Stanley's Bitcoin Trust added $7.1 million, while Grayscale's smaller Bitcoin fund took in $38.9 million, their combined inflows totaling $46.0 million that day.
The divergence was particularly sharp within Grayscale's own lineup, with GBTC losing $36.3 million, but the Mini Trust's inflow leaving Grayscale's two products a combined $2.6 million positive for the day.
Fidelity and ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF recorded the largest outflows at $58.8 million and $55.1 million respectively, accounting for 64.3% of gross outflows among the seven funds that posted withdrawals.
