Morgan Stanley Debuts Industry-Leading Ethereum and Solana ETFs with Built-In Staking
Morgan Stanley's cryptocurrency investment portfolio has expanded with the introduction of two new spot ETFs. The Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust, trading under ticker MSSE on NYSE Arca, provides exposure to ether via the CoinDesk Ether Benchmark 4PM NY Settlement Rate.
The Ethereum fund implements a 0.14% annual expense ratio, positioning it below rival spot Ethereum investment vehicles.
This management fee structure reflects Morgan Stanley's competitive pricing strategy in the cryptocurrency exchange-traded product sector.
Morgan Stanley also rolled out the Solana ETF, listed under ticker MSOL on NYSE Arca, which provides SOL exposure through the CoinDesk Solana Benchmark 4PM NY Settlement Rate.
The Solana fund incorporates staking functionality for portions of its SOL reserves to generate supplementary yields, with complete staking proceeds benefiting the product framework.
