Morgan Stanley Expands Crypto Lineup with Ethereum and Solana ETPs
Morgan Stanley has expanded its digital asset lineup by launching two new exchange-traded products (ETPs) tracking Ethereum and Solana. The Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust and Morgan Stanley Solana Trust, trading under the tickers MSSE and MSOL respectively, began trading on NYSE Arca.
The ETPs charge an annual management fee of 0.14%, making them among the lowest-cost US crypto exchange-traded products. Both funds will also engage in staking, committing a portion of their holdings to help validate transactions and secure the respective networks.
Morgan Stanley's entry into Ethereum and Solana marks its first foray into these assets beyond Bitcoin, which it launched earlier this year with the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust. The bank has expanded direct crypto access through E*TRADE, allowing customers to buy and sell Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana.
