Morgan Stanley Launches Low-Cost Ethereum and Solana ETFs

Morgan Stanley has launched two new exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that track the performance of Ethereum and Solana, respectively. The MSSE ETF tracks ether, while the MSOL ETF follows SOL token.

The funds have an expense ratio of 0.14%, making them the lowest-cost products in their categories. This low cost could help attract more investors to these cryptocurrency markets.

Morgan Stanley's entry into the crypto market is significant due to its vast wealth management platform, which includes 16,000 financial advisors managing $7 trillion in assets.

The firm plans to stake a portion of its underlying holdings to generate staking rewards, but will not retain any portion of those rewards. Instead, they will accrue entirely to the funds.
