Morgan Stanley Taps into XRP Ecosystem with Three ETF Holdings and Ripple-Linked SPAC Stake
Morgan Stanley's latest SEC filing has revealed that the bank holds three XRP ETFs. The filing, dated August 14th, shows that Morgan Stanley owns 6,715 shares of the Franklin XRP ETF (XRPZ), 255 shares of the REX-Osprey XRP ETF, and 67 shares of the Bitwise XRP ETF.
These holdings are small compared to Morgan Stanley's overall portfolio, but they indicate that the bank has exposure to XRP through three different ETF products. This is not the first time Morgan Stanley has reported holding XRP-related funds; in Q1 2026, it held shares of the Grayscale XRP ETF (GXRP) and Volatility Shares XRP ETF.
Morgan Stanley also reported owning 50,540 shares of Armada Acquisition Corp II, a SPAC linked to Ripple-backed Evernorth Holdings. This investment adds another XRP-related position to Morgan Stanley's portfolio beyond its ETF holdings.
