Morgan Stanley Unveils Ethereum and Solana ETFs Amid Growing Crypto Demand
Morgan Stanley has launched its Ethereum and Solana ETFs following approval from NYSE Arca. The Wall Street giant's investment arm announced the launch of MSSE, which tracks Ethereum prices, and MSOL, which tracks Solana prices.
The funds will offer staking to earn rewards on their holdings, with a management fee of 0.14%, one of the cheapest among crypto ETF issuers. This is Morgan Stanley's third foray into crypto, following the launch of its Bitcoin ETF earlier this year and the rollout of spot trading for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana on E*TRADE.
The bank-affiliated asset manager has highlighted growing demand for these assets, with over $396 million in net assets already accumulated by its Bitcoin fund. The launch deepens Morgan Stanley's push into crypto, which includes an application for a crypto-focused national trust bank.
