Morgan Stanley Unveils Low-Fee Ethereum, Solana Spot Funds
Morgan Stanley has expanded its lineup of digital asset exchange-traded products (ETPs) with two new spot funds tied to Ethereum and Solana.
The funds, which will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the tickers MSSE and MSOL respectively, come with a market-low 0.14% sponsor fee each, undercutting existing competitors such as Grayscale's Mini Ethereum Trust at 0.15% and Franklin Templeton's Solana ETF at 0.19%, according to SoSoValue data.
Morgan Stanley will stake part of the funds' ETH and SOL holdings to generate additional staking rewards for investors, extending its digital asset ETP lineup that has grown to over $14 billion in assets under management since it introduced its first ETFs in 2023.
