Morgan Stanley's $7.5M Bitcoin Buy Ignites Institutional Demand
Bitcoin ($BTC) faced rejection at $82,000 and has recorded two consecutive lower daily closes. It fell to $78,000 before recovering slightly to around $79,621, down 1.6% daily, with a decline in trading volume of 18%. Despite weakening price momentum, institutional investors continued accumulating Bitcoin.
Morgan Stanley's MSBT Bitcoin ETF withdrew another 94.56 BTC from Coinbase Prime, worth approximately $7.54 million. This purchase aligns with stronger demand across the broader ETF market. Over four days, the ETF received 355.33 BTC, valued at around $28.3 million.
The spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows for three consecutive days, with the latest session attracting $174 million. The Coinbase Premium Index turned positive on September 4th after remaining negative for a week, indicating stronger buying pressure from Coinbase investors relative to Binance traders.
