Morgan Stanley's Bitcoin Inflows Spark Hopes of Recovery

Institutional demand for Bitcoin has gained momentum in recent times, thanks to Morgan Stanley's Bitcoin Trust crossing $400 million in cumulative inflows. However, this influx of funds was offset by approximately $240 million in daily outflows, highlighting the uneven nature of near-term demand. The price of Bitcoin currently trades below the psychological $65,000 level, leaving investors wondering whether institutional demand can provide enough fuel for a recovery.

On-chain indicators suggest that the market may still have room for an upward move. According to CoinGlass, Bitcoin's MVRV Z-Score stood at 0.39, indicating that the price is relatively close to its Realized Value. Historically, lower MVRV Z-Score readings have appeared near favorable accumulation periods.

Miners also seem to be reducing their selling activity, with miner transfers to exchanges falling to 968 BTC - their lowest monthly reading during the observed period. Lower transfers could reduce immediate selling pressure and give incoming demand greater influence over Bitcoin's price. However, it is essential to note that weaker miner transfers do not guarantee that miners have stopped selling elsewhere.

Bitcoin's technical setup shows that $65,000 remains a crucial resistance level, with several unfilled market imbalances above this level. The largest concentration of these gaps sits above $65,000, placing that level firmly on traders' radar. A decisive move above $65,000 could signal an improving market structure and strengthen the recovery case.

Bitcoin's Stochastic RSI stood at 31 and approached the conventional oversold region below 20, suggesting weakening momentum. An oversold reading would not independently confirm a reversal, but it does indicate that the price may be due for a bounce.
