Morgan Stanley's Historic Bitcoin ETF Launch Sparks Institutional Interest

Morgan Stanley is set to release its Bitcoin Trust (MSBT) ETF on the NYSE Arca, marking a historic moment for the bank as it becomes the first major American commercial bank to offer a spot Bitcoin ETF.

The MSBT ETF will have a low fee of 0.14%, making it the cheapest Bitcoin ETF available in the market and undercutting its competitors, including IBIT and FBTC.

This development could bring institutional interest back into Bitcoin, as well as challenge the dominance of existing players like Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF.

The recent launch of the MSBT ETF coincides with a surge in the price of BTC, which has climbed nearly 5% over the past seven days to reach above $71,000.

This uptrend can be attributed to the recent announcement by Donald Trump that the attacks on Iran will be paused for two weeks, leading to growth across the crypto market, including Bitcoin.
