Morgan Stanley's Solana ETF Boosts SOL Price Amid Technical Resistance

Instruments

Solana (SOL) is trading at $73.67, with a marginal gain on the day, and has ended slightly higher within a modest intra-day range.

The price is positioned just above its key short-term moving average, though it remains under its medium- and long-term trend metrics.

Morgan Stanley's introduction of a spot Solana ETF on NYSE Arca with a 0.14% expense ratio has increased access to SOL for both institutional and retail participants through regulated investment channels, increasing liquidity and offering a direct incentive for holding via the ETF format.

The ETF plans to stake up to 100% of its SOL holdings, further aligning on-chain activity with traditional finance products.
